Planting pumpkin seeds

Mrs. Shannon told the kids that they could take home their pumpkin seeds and plant them. Well, Jack hasn't let up about it since he brought them home on Thursday :)

...scooping the dirt (yes that's my kitchen spoon and yes it bothered me that we had to use it!).

...yes, he laid each of the 20, one by one in their perfect little spot...NO CLUE where this precisely-perfect nature came from! 

He asked me to lay the last few...do you think he would mind if I laid them all on top of each other (in the back left corner)?

"MAMA! You canNOT lay them on top of each other. They won't grow that way and it's just not the right way!" Sorry son....as my dad used to say "You're going to miss me picking on you when I'm gone!"
