"i luiogjdaifiod yogudskylhatieu"

we were doing our typical nite-nite routine and as always, i lay him down, put a pillow over his chest (and recently ask him to kiss elmo, hug elmo), then kiss mommy, hug mommy. after he hugs me, he immediately pops that thumb in his mouth and looks at the wall. then i lift up his bangs, kiss his forehead, say i love you and turn out the light. well after i said i love you, he yanked that thumb out, looked at me and gave me the biggest smile and said "i luiogjdaifiod yogudskylhatieu" back for the first time tonight!!!!! in the english language, that would be "i love you"! of course, the only thing i could understand was the "i" and "l" and "y" in the phrase, but it was the most precious thing ever! (ok he's been saying it to chunk for a while now, but who cares, it's my blog, not his!). we continued to say it back and forth as i walked out of the room. then (which he sometimes talks after i close the door and he's in the dark) he screamed it a couple of times like 5 minutes after i left the room. if jack only knew that right now he could ask for 1,857,436 M&M's and i would give him ALL of them for melting mama's heart like he did tonight! thank you God for my two precious little boys and husband! i am so blessed. :)
