a few weeks ago, my sweet aunt debra and i (my granddad was sick so my mom had to stay with him) went to karen's bridal tea in lousiana! it was a blast! they got a lot of great stuff! the sax family is just so sweet. i'm so happy lee met karen and found this loving, caring, fun family!

my brother and i (whom i miss so much, but i'm so happy that he has found a wonderful family that loves him! i used to tell my mom that we would have to have separate holidays when we were older because i despised him that much!)

we visited the sampayo's in missouri and the boys loved the pool! we had a blast spending time with the sampayo's and will get to see them in novemeber for katherine's BIG DAY!!!

it took jack a while to get comfortable in the water and once he did, there was no going back. he jumped in at least 50 times!

date night...we went to eat mexican and then to a movie at 9:45...at about 10:45, we basically gave each other a look implying "what the heck were we thinking....we're too old to be out this late!" now, we would have been fine if we were able to sleep it off in the morning, but we were meeting my parents and the boys at 8:15 mass....so we decided to leave (besides it was the $1.00 theater). if we had not have left, it would have been at least 12:35 before we got home! way too late for us! but we had a blast. i forgot how funny and interesting my sweet love is! we need to do this at least once a month. thanks mom and dad for watching the boys!
we went to the cahaba river with katie, nathan, finn, wilder, rebecca and her kiddos (but of course i didn't get much pictures of them! jared kept putting stinking rocks in his mouth....but he had a blast)
jack was beside himself because he kept getting rocks in his shoes. he takes after his mommy and is "too good" for dirt (no, i'm really not proud of this...i'm trying to get better and thus make him better). after a good 15ish minutes, he finally realized it was fun to get in the water.

finn and jack has a BLAST right before we were leaving. jack thought finn was hilarious and once finn picked up on this, he kept entertaining jack! they were so cute!
chunk built jack's 1st train tracks (now that he's finally shown some interest). he loved it! jared just wanted to eat it.

Gosh, I have missed so much on your blog. I'm a bad friend. Now I feel like I am all caught up with you... I have to say that your brother is way less bratty than he used to be, so you can't be faulted for used to wanting to have separate holidays! :)
