one of the billion (to INFINITY AND BEYOND...of course) reasons i love my little (oldest) man

we all know children love routine, right? (if not, watch my hero...supernanny!). that boils all the way down to the same book, over and over and over and over and over and (when you think they've had enough), over again. surprisingly, i do not get bored by it. i've heard parents talk about wanting a "new" book, but eh, it doesn't faze me. he's just as excited the 83rd time as he is the 1st time. and seriously, that's what it's all about for me. well his "new book" lately has been Goodnight Gorilla. it's been in the limelight for a few weeks now. on the second page of goodnight gorilla, there is a slight tear in the top left hand corner. it measures about 1x1in. this TEAR is a significant part of our story reading. it is never forgotten. jack can skip many pages, but that is one he will never skip. he opens to that page and immediately points to it and says "uh-oh." if i try to start the story without acknowledging and addressing this tear, then he will become louder and repetitive...

"uh-oh. UH-OH! UHHHHHHHH!!!-OHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

"That's right Jack, it tear."

"IT TEAR. UH-OH IT TEAR."

"Yea, but it's ok."

"It tear is OKAYYYY!"


...then we can happily carry along w/ the story we've been reading for weeks now. But I love every second of it, especially the "tear" part!!!!

oh and the fact that he is currently screaming "TO INFINITY AND BEYOND" on the monitor right now just adds to my billion reasons!

and the fact that he puts buzz, woody and woody's hat to sleep every night, w/ a pillow and a cover. when he kisses them, he has to kiss buzz (first remove the space shuttle helmet, then kiss, then close the helmet), woody...OH and shame on mommy to walk away before he's kissed woody's HAT! yep, that's right, his hat is just as important as woody himself!

and the fact that after teaching him "roll-tide-nasty" (nasty stemming from what my mom taught him his diaper was...thanks mom!), he now says when admitting he pooped, "roll tide go nasty" pointing to his poopy diaper!!! And now he's screaming on the monitor "roll tide nasty, NO ROLL TIDE GOOD!" he does this every time i walk out of his room after telling him goodnight because he knows at least once or maybe twice, i will come back in and tickle him. i guess he hopes that i would hear him over the monitor, lol. :)

and the fact that he LOVES his "da-da git chu!" moments.


i just love all 3 of my boys to infinity and beyond!!!!!!!!!!

goodness, I'm so glad i didn't feel as big as i looked! but hey, as i tell myself then and now...it DOESN'T MATTER...look @ the beautiful gift i was blessed to carry and nurture in this lifetime! thank YOU GOD!

girhhh...i chose many more pictures, uploaded and patiently waited to download and WHAM, they all disappeared! So all that's here is up to 3mth old.
