You are so funny right now. You love to pretend to give us a bite, you stick the bite (of food) and your entire hand in our mouth, then smile, then pull it away and eat it yourself.
You love your little brother Jared. You give him kisses all the time. You get excited when he wakes up from naps and say "Jare." If he's crying, you find a toy and give it to him. You sit on him and laugh. You straddle him to lay your head sideways on his chest and hug him. You like to climb on his changing table so you can straddle, hug and kiss. You laugh out loud when he blow bubbles or makes farting noises. You love to hold him for about 3 seconds, max. After that, you start to push him off of your lap and say "All done, all done, all done," or "ne-meh, ne-meh, ne-meh, no-more."
You love to give the dogs hugs.
Your growing way to tall and can reach way too many things. You weigh 31lbs. You are in the 95 percentile for height and weight.
You love to jump.
You got a sandbox (Sampayo's), trampoline (Robinson's) and toys for your birthday.
You love to play hide and seek. In fact, you think that we can't see you if you can't see us.
You love to go "side" (outside).
You love the park. In fact, since the park is right beside our house, you become a broken record almost the entire errand trip, "Park, Park, Park, PPPPPAAAARRRRKRKKKKK!!!!! Park, Park, Park, Park, Park, Park, Park.
You love Elmo and Tom and Jerry.
You love to sit in dada's lap while he play's xbox.
You love milk and juice. Your refusing water unless it's in an adult cup. I'm forcing you to like it again by only bringing that to the park.
You love being around other kids. You love school.
You sleep wonderful. We change you into your PJ's, put you in your overnight diaper, read a book, drink some milk and then I ask if your ready to go nite-nite and you say "nite-nite, nite-nite, nite-nite" suck your thumb and look away. I kiss your forehead and put the covers on you and you go to sleep.
You love you grandparents (both sets) and have fun with both. You call your grandpa/grandad what sounds like "buck-eye." You have leanred that when we leave in the morning during the week, that we are going to "buck-eye's" house.
You are one cautious little boy and I am reminded of that when we go to the park and other people freak-out with some of things your doing, but I don't.
You love to put on your shoes. You haven't quite got the hang of it and that frustrates you, but you try.
You love to push the grocery cart. You look so cute when you do it. People @ wal-mart just smile and laugh at what your doing.
You love olives and pickles. You could eat an entire jar. You don't like pizza. You will choose veggies over meats almost any day of the week. You love oranges, apples, lima beans, watermelon, hamburger patties, hog dogs (on the grill preferably), grill cheese. You love your milk like there's no tomorrow. That's usually the first thing you say, followed by mama (if dada is picking you up) or dada (if mama is picking you up). Yea, you like to play games.
You want your mama when your hurt, tired, sad, upset etc. You want your dada for fun things. Go figure, that's the life of a mom.
Your dad cannot wait for you to play sports. He wants to coach all of his kiddos teams.
We tried to take you to a movie, and you really impressed me by lasting 45 minutes...but after that, there was no getting you back in the seat. It was time to go. Thanks to your intelligent father, we called ahead of time and asked if they would comp us my ticket and they did (yours was free since you were under 2).
You are my life Jack. I don't remember what life was like without my boys. You make me strive to be a better person. You are my baby. You will always be my baby. There is nothing you could do to erase this ever-growing love that I have for you. I love you with my entire heart and soul. I am so thankful that God chose me to be your mother. I love you son! Happy 2nd Birthday!!!!!
Here's are a few pictures from 2 years ago!
Here are some recents ones from the past week...
Aunkt Kitty and the boys...
This is one of my favorites...Jared often looks back at you to see whose lap he's sitting in :)
Grandma Candy and the boys...
"buck-eye" and jack
worn out on his birthday...
it was rather difficult trying to take a picture with both the boys by myself...
my handsome man w/ his boys :)
jack's birthday desert was diet coke and a chocolate krispy kreme donut (he didn't eat cake at his birthday party last weekend, but he LOVED his doughnut). my dad cringes at the thought of jack eating unhealthy food (especially now when he doesn't really know about it, so why create the habit type thing), so chunk was quick to grab the camera to take pictures for his favorite father-in-law. He said this one's for Lee, Jack's sippin' the drink and looking directly at the camera. :)
Happy Birthday my love. You are my heart and I will always love you more than words could ever express! Thank you for being you!

Happy Birthday Jack! He's precious!
