Spicey Dinner...anyone, anyone?

 

i have two little boys that cooked a really yummy dinner...

 i told him the spoon was too big to fit into the spice jar, so he tried the spatula....

when i walked out of the room, this little stinker poured spice on my steamed cauliflower in the back pot!

i was off for 3 days this week. i did a lot of cleaning, playing and hanging out with my handsome boys!

 being silly w/ toothless from how to drain your dragon. jack calls him "dragon movie." when i try to correct him by telling him his name is toothless, he says "SILLEE MAMA. IT NOT TOOTHLESS. IT DRAGON MOVIE!!!!"

 melissa and doug puzzles are the best. we have three thus far and plan to buy many more! he gets so proud and really, really enjoys doing them. we probably put it together 2-3 times per day. he;s gotten so good and can put all 48 pieces together by himself!

we just bought a zoo membership and the boys loved it! jack was so protective of his little brother and (surprisingly!) jared could care less. there were so many peacocks walking around and making crazy noises...it kind of wigged jack and i out, but of course only intrigued jared. jack kept grabbing jared and telling him to "go this way! go this way! jared, no, go this way!" he didn't want jared going towards the peacocks.

he got his favorite din-sar, T-REX! he loved it so much that he 15 minutes after i had laid him down for his afternoon nap, i heard him giggling in his room. he had moved the rocking chair beside his dresser to get T-REX off his dresser....so we gave T-REX a bath.

 jack kept saying "i pick him up please?"

 the best "toys" are free...

 my youngest little man moved to his big boy bed (twin) on febuary 5th @ 16 mths old. it worked so well with jack, that i was determined to do it w/jared @ the same age. he did great! and loves his bed!
